Get evaluated!: It is recommended by the american association of orthodontics that a child's first orthodontic visit should be by age 7. While your child may not be ready for traditional braces, the evaluation will allow the orthodontist to determine your child's diagnosis. Sometimes, there are even easy procedures that can be done at an early age to aid in the final treatment and even shorten the time in braces.
