Yes: The dentist can send in the photo of the shade of the neighboring teeth to the lab to match the crown to the teeth. When you go in for placement of crown, you can have it tried in first to see if you like the matched shade. If you don't, it can be returned to the lab for better matching of the shade. With today's technology, it can be perfectly matched so you can't tell the difference!
