Not a good idea: While a tummy tuck is not a contraindication for future pregnancies, it is recommended that you have completed your family before a tummy tuck as a pregnancy can undo the results which you obtained.

You can, but don't: Almost anyone can have a tummy tuck, but if you are planning on getting pregnant in the future, it is best to wait. Pregnancy can "undo" what the surgeon does to tighten the abdominal wall. It is best to wait until you are done having children, if possible.

Yes: We recommend that you do not have a tummy tuck within one year of planning to get pregnant, but otherwise you can have a tummy tuck and then get pregnant in the future.

Yes, but...: Yes, it is possible to undergo tummy tuck surgery ( assuming you are a good candidate…) but ideally best to wait until you have completed pregnancies and have achieved a long-term stable weight. Best wishes.

Yes, but why risk it: Unless this is a remote possibility, why risk the tummy tuck procedure if you are definitely planning in conceiving in the near future. Pregnancy will most certainly undo any corrections accomplished by the tummy tuck and it will likely have to be repeated. This is a procedure which should be scheduled after completion of child rearing unless this is following massive weight loss or surgery.
