On the mend....: The severity of the fracture(s) as well as any associated soft tissue injuries sustained during the trauma are needed to be able to determine your prognosis. Minor fractures with little or no soft tissue injury tend to resolve in less time than multiple fractures with extensive soft tissue involvement. Even though the bones may appear to have "mended", there are other factors to consider.
