Bruises: Bruising on bony prominences is not uncommon even if you cannot recall the trauma. If this recurs, especially on the same areas with unknown cause you may want to consider getting them biopsied. Erythema nodosum is a rare condition that can be associated with other inflammatory processes elsewhere in the body. Examples are sarcoidosis, inflammatory bowel disease, infections, etc. See a derm.
