A member asked:

I have pneumonia and persistent fever. my doctor give me azithromycin 250 and cefexim 400 .should i eat them together in certain time of the day?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Regular schedule: You can take these antibiotics together -there is no problem with that. The best thing though is to take them on a regular schedule -that way the 'levels' of the medicine will be sustained because that is what you want to treat the pneumonia. If you don't improve shortly, you need to call your doctor for answers. Hopefully they got cultures to tell you 'what' germ the infection is caused by.
