Unusual pathogen: Risk of prosthetic joint infection is influenced by many modifiers pre/postoperatively. The success of your prosthetic joint in highly dependent of some routine health observation; dental, genitourinary, GI etc. Listeria M. is not a usual pathogen in PJIs. if you are worried about the possibility of infection please contact your surgeon ASAP for proper evaluation.
