Sleep hygiene: Having good sleep hygiene is essential to getting lifelong restful sleep so start now. Check out the National Sleep Foundation's website, search for "sleep hygiene" for great tips. In general: avoid caffeine after noon. No screen time 1 hour before bed. No screens in bedroom. Make sure it's dark and quiet. No alcohol at bedtime. Establish a soothing bedtime ritual. Train pets to sleep elsewhere.
