Tonsil stones?: 32 yo male with dry throat and big patches/granules on back of throat. These patches that you describe could be tonsilloliths (also known as tonsil stones). They are not harmful and are simply collections of debris that tend to lodge in the crevices of tonsils. If they are truly bothersome or causing pain, please see primary care physician or ENT.
