A member asked:

Have the following hard, fixed nodes for a few months, low-grade fever, throat irritation & belching: 1) left supraclavicular 2) lower posterior triangle 3) middle posterior triangle (calcified) will see doc soon, but what is it and how worrisome?

Nodes: This definitely requires medical evaluation very soon. Do not put it off.

Do need evaluation.: I'm glad you're going to see a doctor soon, as I believe these nodes, at least some, need to be removed and sent to the lab for definitive diagnosis. They're present in a few areas and are hard and fixed, by your description, which are not necessarily benign findings. Now, these don't mandate that there's something bad going on, but does merit that we take these nodes seriously.
