A member asked:

If a dad is 5'10 and the mom is 5'5 what would be the final height of the kid they have not based on genetics but simply the parents height?

Odd question: A prediction based on biological parental height is relatively good because it relies on genetics. Why you think it would not is puzzling. The male offspring are the average of parent height + 2.5-3 inches while females are the average -2-5-3 inches. If the parents have adopted the kid, their height has no input in the final outcome.
