Hello. while i know there is a major randomness in genetics and how a person is developed i wonder where you get your intelligence from. mom or dad?

Intelligence: Intelligence is influenced by many factors, as you know. There is not any good science that I know of that would help answer your question. Genetic contribution does not take into account early development experiences, environment and other factors. It is true that certain features have strong genetic links, but when considering the Average and above intelligence, many more factors play a role.
