Losing weight isn't: easy for some, even most of the population. Being overweight isn't a death sentence for physical health, but it is correlated with many negative health conditions. The basics of losing weight are 1) eating less calories than you burn, 2) eating good (vs. bad) food, 3) drinking plenty of water, 4) exercising and 5) not stopping doing steps 1 through 4. Any other plan is just "spin."
