Conscious breathing: Safe way to stimulate the 'relaxation response': Don't try to relax. Watch your breathing in a 6-3-6-3 pattern. Exhale all the way. Wait for a count of 3 Inhaling slowly count of 6. Wait for count of 3 Exhale slowly count of 6. Continue. Adjust the counting so you don't get dizzy or uncomfortable. Let your breathing soften. Let you body be supported by the bed. Do 10 minutes. Notice how you feel
