Had my effexor (venlafaxine) increased to 150mg. can't sleep well, knees purple and feel weird and wake up with my whole body shaking. side effects?

Effexor (venlafaxine): At 150mg, Effexor (venlafaxine) is not just inhibiting reuptake of serotonin, but also of norepineprine. This could result in most of the symptoms you list -- the purple knees one is a little perplexing, though. Please contact your own physician about all this.
