Yes: If peroxide is used in large amounts and the toe is soaked in peroxide it will definitely do damage to the healthy areas. I do not recommend using it or soaking an infected toenail. The best thing to do is follow the Podiatrists instructions with proper care including keeping the area very clean, dry and applying the medication that was recommended or prescribed until it is healed.
