Well done...: Easy on the peroxide. It may kill the bacteria but it also gives your skin a hard time too. Try using warm water. either with or without soap. I think you would know if it was infected. Look for redness, swelling, pain and possibly drainage. Just because you cut the corner out does not necessarily mean you're home free. If infection signs begin, have it corrected by a specialist.
