See a doctor: Keloids can treated via surgery , steroid injection, and ointments . See a doctor to get proper treatment.

Ask your doctor: Have you looked into intralesional steroid treatment for them? Ask your doctor about it. I too have a large keloid on my shoulder and it throbs, but I am used to it and I don‘t do anything for it. Of course you could try warm or cold compress as well when it hurts.
