Path to be defined: A lesion of the ovary rarely defined in the asymptomatic state. Most seen with mets to omentum and uterus. Best approach if there is a question on US of abdomen/pelvis is to remove the ovarian lesion. This would require laparoscopy but not hysteroscopy. Once lesion defined then if malignant, further therapy to prevent recurrence needed.
