Surgeons call: When your surgeon determines that you have had enough healing. First consider that this not usually treated surgically which means your tear was severe so don't take any chances because you can ruin the repair. CHECK WITH YOUR SURGEON

Lifted heavy load.intense pain along hip bone & groin. During exam Dr. said she reduced a hernia. CT scan & X-Ray of hip shows nothing. This was end of Jan. Still have pain along hip bone & hip can't put weight on leg. Maybe a tear needs surgery?
