See ORS : See your surgeon who repaired your labrum . Femoralacetabular impingement of the hip is either 'pincer' or'cam'. Both of these types can progress despite your labral repair. The C T findings are most likely not the cause of your continued pain.A second opinion from an ORS experienced in arthroscopic hip surgery is a good idea. Best of Luck!

I am curious since I have hip impingement Cam and a labral tear, is surgery the best option. I am very active, former college athlete and love to workout. I go to PT but understandable the tear will always be there with the pain. Thoughts on surgery?
Having hip pain. I was told I have Hip Impingement but MRI shows no labral tear. Can the impingement cause pain and can you have surgery for impingement with no tear?
