A member asked:
Spinal fracture: The treatment depends on if this is a new fracture or old and on the age of the patient and the mechanism of injury. If it's an old healed fracture there is no treatment necessary at this stage if it's an acute fracture then bracing may be an option versus surgical intervention.
A 26-year-old male asked:
Meniscus injury: An injury to the meniscus can lead to pain when applying pressure to the inside of the knee while crossing the legs this can be aggravated. Although usually there is swelling of the knee sometimes you'll only get pain and not much swelling. If regularanti-inflammatories and ice or not helping then it is necessary to obtain consultation with an orthopedic specialist.
A 25-year-old female asked:
Cartilage injury: Although it is unusual to have early arthritis at such a young age it is possible that an injury to the Cartlidge of the ankle took place even while in school and now impact as well as dorsiflexion can apply pressure to the Cartlidge of the dome of the talus or The distal tibia. Usually anti-inflammatories will help as well as icing and elevating but impact sports may be a bad idea
