Seek MD for followup: white/pale stool consistent with lack of bile, and may even see oil slick in toilet bowl if diet of hi oil/fat. Blockage can be intermittent, and assume normal bilirubin and allkaline phos. Be sure the common bile duct is not dilated (widened), and be sure pancreas (amylase/lipase test) ok. Happy to consult. Pain could also be from a prior operation - need more info
