Why did you get US?: If lfts are normal, and no pain, why get us? Fatty liver means more fat stored in liver than normal, usually due to metabolic reasons - overweight, diabetes, alcohol overuse/abuse. Gallbladder wall thickening is a weak sign of gallbladder disease in people with pain or tenderness - in this case it probably means the gallbladder could distend even more than it was.

Modify lifestyle 1st: Fatty liver occurs thru delivery of dietary fat/fatty acids to liver, excess carbohydrate, impaired export of triglyceride from liver cells, & augmented trigylceride production. Fix it by controlling diabetes, obesity, cholesterol, & avoid alcohol. Possibly sick gallbladders are less diet responsive, but low fiber, high refined carbohydrate diets associate with stones & vegetarians get fewer ones.
