You could: It takes a very skilled physical therapy team to individualize and treat patellofemoral pain syndrome. Quadricep strengthening is needed by some; others have adequate quad strength but tight lateral structures, improper patellar alignment, etc. As they attempt to correct these, other structures in the knee could be impacted.
