A member asked:

My foot goes numb sometimes when i walk or sit down i am also type 2 diabetic but the numbness when walking just started?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not just diabetes: B"sd By foot, assume you mean one and not both feet. This suggests something other than diabetic neuropathy, which you may have also, since it is usually symmetric. If the problem persists, then conditions such as "pinched" nerve or spinal stenois or impaired blood supply need to be considered.
