Leg numbness: Numbness in a limb after being in a fixed position for a prolonged period is not uncommon. It results from temporary compression of the nerve. To avoid this, best to try to stretch your legs, stand up, move your feet. If you do notice that it takes longer for the sensation to return, or this is accompanied by weakness, seek medical attention.
