A member asked:

Had tingling in left foot for past year, worked up as bulging disc l4-s1. also well controlled type 1 dm x25years. went for a walk today and when returned home i had numbness in both arches of feet. stretched, and iced lower back with relief. cause?

Skeptical that a "bulging disc" is compressing a nerve root to cause your foot tingling. Most doctors would wonder about diabetic neuropathy. Would wonder if your current symptoms may be secondary to subclinical tarsal tunnel syndrome. See a podiatrist.
