I got an xray on my back yesterday, and my iud looks off to me. is it normal for it to be not in the center of my pelvis and slightly tilted?

Usually fine!: The uterus is not typically standing upright--it can lay tilted forward or backwards so the IUD can look a little crooked Is this back pain SINCE IUD insertion? If you can feel your strings, you are likely OK. Talk to your doctor, who may examine you and maybe do an ultrasound to check position--for peace of mind

IUD is passenger: Your IUD is a "passenger" contained within the uterus. So it goes where the uterus does and the uterus is flexible as it is suspended by ligaments in the pelvic space.
