Ok: First 2 days after laparoscopic cholecystectomy could be tough, but pain meds work great, especially if they let you take Motrin. By the end of the week you should be back to normal. Of course recovery may be shorter or longer based on your history and pain tolerance.

Minimal Pain: Especially if done Laproscopically Ask for PCA post op if you stay overnight.
