Usually mild...: Some vaccines may cause mild reactions, such as: fever, mild crankiness, tiredness, loss of appetite, and tenderness, redness, or swelling in the area where the shot was given, but serious reactions are rare. The cdc has good info on common and rare side effects: http://www.Cdc.Gov/vaccines/vac-gen/side-effects.Htm.
