Why ??: It has been practiced as a religious ritual for thousands of years. The proof is out there for those who choose to look at it. For those who scoff at the evidence, nothing will change their minds.At the present time it is an elective procedure.Those who wish can do so, and those who do not can avoid it. Your personal feelings do not trump those who accept the procedure.
