Hi I have a uti, I waited a little to long to see a doctor, he gave me macrobid for it. I took the med at 3pm, then around 8Pm started to throw up.
My doctor gave me Macrobid for my UTI. I got my culture back there was eColi. The pain in my urethra never went away. I am now being told that that will not heal the eColi in my urethra /urethritis I should take Cipro or z pak. Why no Help both?
Dipstick and little machine said no UTI but doc ordered 100mg Macrobid 2 daily 10 days. Culture sent out. OK to wait til culture returns to take med?
