My doctor gave me Macrobid for my UTI. I got my culture back there was eColi. The pain in my urethra never went away. I am now being told that that will not heal the eColi in my urethra /urethritis I should take Cipro or z pak. Why no Help both?
Macrobid was called in for a suspected UTI due to burning. After taking two doses, I was able to leave a urine sample at my doctors office which came back normal. Should I continue the Macrobid until the full culture comes back or discontinue?
Went to doc 7/24 and had spotting (have IUD) had tests done. 7/31 doc called found UTI gave macrobid rx 100mg 2x for 5 days. I started rx on Wed night. Still have mild spotting (only while wiping & brownish in color) is this ok? If not, what do I do?
