Can there be such a thing as a fruit & vegetable diet?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Incomplete.: A diet containing only fruits and vegetables will lack a ready source of complete proteins, which have vital functions in our bodies. As well, we do need some fat in our diet (not a lot, but some). So this would not be the healthiest way to go. Fruits and veggies are great, but add lean proteins like egg whites and fish if you wish to limit calories.
