Pain specialist: Sometimes pain doesn't respond easily to medication or physical therapy. There are physicians and clinics which are devoted to pain management. If your doctor would refer you to a pain management specialist, you might be introduced to other types of treatment.

Specializes in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine

Pain rehab clinic: An interdisciplinary treatment center for pain rehabilitation would be best. Depending on the center you could meet with a pain physician, rehab physician, psychologist, PT, OT, and others to develop a plan for recovery from pain. This may include additional testing or medications, but will also focus on physical therapy, exercise, cognitive behavioral therapy, and more.
