Most likely!: 10 pounds for most people is not insurmountable. Avoiding salt, sodas, refined carbs and high fat foods and eating a reasonable diet with lots of fruits and vegetables and exercising should allow most any overweight person to lose 10 pounds in 2-6 weeks and do it reasonably. Ther first part of the weight loss will be water and salt anyway.
