Arthritis: Leg pain immediately on resting & resuming activity after rest for a short time is due to arthritis in one or more joints. It would be either an old injury or a systemic arthritis at her young age. The latter would be progressive and needs medical followup, the former just needs NSAIDs like aspirin or naprosyn (naproxen). If this is does not fit please specify where her leg pain is-miscle, bone, joint?
