Possibly: Surgery is usually the treatment of last resort. If you can't treat the pain with antinflammory drugs, or PT. Than I would advise you speak to your physician about the inaffectiveness of PT and/or other treatments that you have tried. You and your Physician than need to determine if the pro's and con's of surgery are worth it in the long run.
