Plantar Fasciitis: 26 year old gentleman with plantar fasciitis. The treatment for plantar fasciitis includes rest, ice, stretching, physical therapy, and then injections or surgery for cases that do not respond to more conservative management. According to the AAOS, you can roll your foot over a cold or frozen water bottle for 20 minutes 3-4 times a day to ice it. http://orthoinfo.aaos.org/topic.cfm?topic=a00149
