Heel pain: Experiencing a popping sound on the plantar aspect of your heel after being treated for planter fasciitis could be caused by a tear of the plantar fascia. I would see your podiatrist for further evaluation.

See a podiatrist: You may have ruptured a portion of the plantar fascia.
