You certainly do have options. Start with Achilles tendon/ calf stretches. Stretching of the arch and plantar fascia . Wearing supportive shoes or custom orthotic. Orthotics work over 90% in relieving plantar fasciitis. Like any surgery there are risks and complications. Second opinion might be considered. Good luck.
