You have many options but it is best to find out by second opinion from an expert podiatrist. You could also participate by finding out more about plantar fasciitis so you could understand what you are doing that predisposes you to having it so that you could correct that. You certainly do have options. Start with Achilles tendon/ calf stretches. Stretching of the arch and plantar fascia . Wearing supportive shoes or custom orthotic. Orthotics work over 90% in relieving plantar fasciitis. Like any surgery there are risks and complications. Second opinion might be considered. Good luck.
