Depends: First, it shuld be absolutely necessary or you should not have it done in pregnancy. Second, it depends on which trimester, but i would avoid the versed altogether. It should not be elective; that can be done after tyhe pregnancy. Why must it be done now?

Elective procedures: At 31 yo and pregnant, a colonoscopy may not be elective. Sedation for a colonoscopy is not mandatory- it is elective. The colon prep to clean your intestines poses more danger than you think. The water shifts and not eating to maintain a clean colon poses the greatest danger to the foetus.
