Unsafe, unwise: I believe most extreme diets are unhealthy and unwise and this is a good example. I advise limiting protein to about 70 grams a day. Higher amounts puts stress on the kidneys, can cause osteoporosis and may reduce longevity- esp. if the main source is animal protein. I believe it's not wise to limit all carbs- but it is wise to limit sugars and starches. See http://tinyurl.com/hqxta7c and comment.
