Strep throat immune: 19 M asked if strept throat mean you have weak immune system. Usually not but can so check with your Dr. Was a strept that done to make sure it is strept. If viral it means you immune system did not protect you. Not because it is weak but perhaps because it had never seen this virus.

Susceptible vs weak: Some people can carry strep in their throat without ever getting sick, but most develop an illness within 12 hours. It doesn't mean your system is weak, but you are susceptible.
