Hi there,could a weakened immune system be a sign of an std?i had an unprotected incident 5.5months ago&tested neg 9wk after for hiv,syphilis&g/c.since i have had recurrent illness strep,colds&covid with aching lymph. should i re-test?

Immune system can be weakened in many conditions but STD is not one of them. Pl check with your doc or an Internist . Hope you do well

Although it often is assumed that frequent colds, strep throat, etc reflect a weakened immune system, it's almost never true. There is nothing in these events that imply increased risk for STDs or that STD testing is not reliable. Your negative test results are conclusive.
