Strep Throat: It can but usually it it more often due to big and persistent tonsils and adenoids. Fortunately, recurrent strep throat is not one of the warning signs for an immune deficiency. Many times just taking out tonsils and adenoids cures the problem. If for see your allergist for possible IgA evaluation and/or allergy evaluation.
