Sinusitis.: This could still be sinusitis or allergies. Especially with a sinus infection, the fluid produced can become so thick and viscous that it doesn't drain; rather, it gets stuck in the sinus chambers, causing pressure that can extend up the Eustachian tubes to the inner ears.
