Wax Impaction: You probably moistened a near complete wax impaction and made the blockage complete. This may require an ENT doctor to fix but you can try dissolving the wax. Debrox and Cerumenex are good at this. I suggest repeat usage several times a day until the wax dissolves. If it doesn't after a day or two time to see the doctor. Seeing a ENT rather than your pcp is recommended.
