If only one of: the feet is cold….I would go back….is it that it is cold or her perception is of cold? is the pain in the foot or the ankle? was both the foot and ankle x-rayed? does she have any pain to the calf region...

Stop icing.: Temperature changes after an injury, are always concerning. Generally the affected area heats up, as a prelude to the inflammatory cycle and healing. Becoming cold can be due to nerve or vascular damage. This can be temporary of longer. To remove all doubt if the temperature does not start stabilizing, and soon, you need to be re-evaluated.
